A downloadable game

Embark on perilous quests to infiltrate labyrinthine citadels, climb fiery mountains and cross dangerous hills. Wizards, warlocks and worse await.

Fight and Sorcery! is a retro-clone of old-school RPG gamebooks. It introduces a few tweaks to make it work as an actual TTRPG while remaining compatible with your favorite gamebooks, its situations and encounters. Print it and slid it in between your gamebook pages.

Fight and Sorcery! includes:

  • Simple 2d6-based rules for play and character creation
  • Fast and deadly combat
  • Unique magic-system requiring your own occult books, a creative mind of words - and a knack for remembering spellwords
  • A bestiary of strange and dangerous foes and how they greet you
  • A starting gamebook adventure and dungeon map (if you cannot find your own!)

Fight and Sorcery! is CC BY 4.0. The writing and logo-art is by g0ri and the dungeon map is by Perplexing Ruins (used with permission). The game was originally created as a submission for the OSR June Jam 2.
