A gloriously analogue offering that can still be played digitally that has a good idea and an abundance of punk zine DIY spirit that I feel inspired to give something like this a go.

I love an analogue zine that also comes with plaint text, which could only be improved by add descriptions of the zine art and layout.

Great stuff!

Wow thanks! That was an awesome comment. Warms my heart. And a great idea about adding descriptions to the plaintext. I’ll definitely do that!

Fantastic game! Really love the pocket zine layout. What do you do with the luck?

Thanks a lot! Really glad you liked it.

Luck is very much up to the player(s). The only restraint is that you have to “end with none.” My interpretations, anyway, have been that your

  • Luck indicates how many times you can do something extraordinary
  • Luck abstractly indicates how lucky you are by giving a random number between 2 and 12 (the higher, the more lucky?)
  • Luck is a resource or meta-currency
  • Luck is the number you have to roll under to do something dangerous or uncertain. Decrease it by 1 after each test (like Troika!/Fighting Fantasy)
  • Etc

These are just examples of my uses of it.

Again, thanks for commenting and asking!
